Fairytale setting

Perfect cottage on the edge of woods, with the sound of running water, walks from the door, peace, calm and beauty. With every facility provided, and roasting ourselves by the woodburner each evening, we didn't want to leave, nor did our dogs.

Beautiful and peaceful character cottage deep in the woods on the slopes of the quantocks. We loved our stay - a perfect autumnal hide away

Highly recommended

This was our second visit to The Roundhouse and we enjoyed it as much as the first. The house is lovely and has everything you need. The location is fantastic with walks from right outside the gate.

Thank you Mandy & David, we are so glad you had a good week, we hope you will visit us again.

We love this cottage

This was our second visit to the Round House and we stayed for 5 nights this time. The cottage is wonderful with the fire lit and as we were having a birthday celebration we cooked dinner in the very well equipped kitchen. The butcher in Nether Stowey is definitely worth a visit. The cottage is very well equipped and cosy and it is so wonderfully quiet that we all slept extremely well and felt so relaxed. I can highly recommend this wonderful well kept secret cottage.

Another Wonderful Stay

This was our second trip to the Roundhouse and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Everything is to the very highest standard and the owner Kate is a joy to deal with; nothing is too much trouble. The area is beautiful and our dog had lots of lovely walks. We could not recommend the Roundhouse highly enough.

Sheer delight

Our first impression of the Roundhouse was sheer delight. It was like a secret cottage in the woods. The cottage well equipped and very comfortable. We only stayed for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. We cooked Sunday lunch and everything we needed was there. The finish is to a high standard and many of the little things provided like bathrobes, fluffy towels and lovely cotton sheets were really appreciated as was the welcome tea and scones and a bottle of wine. The area is beautiful particularly for walking.

Loved every minute!

We are just back from the Round House and loved every minute! It was a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage was very comfortable and the welcome gift of scones, wine, eggs etc. was much appreciated. We enjoyed visits to Dunster, Lynmouth and Porlock Weir. Archie the chocolate Labrador particularly enjoyed the Blue Anchor beach. We would love to return next year. Thank you.
